Quick Review

For the 2012 edition of the Land Rover LR2 the manufacturers have worked on bringing it cosmetically into line with all of the other vehicles in the Land Rover range. To this end the LR2 has been given a new bumper, grille, badge and the exterior features (mirrors and door handles) have been revamped. The interior has also had a makeover with new seats, trim and dashboard design. Under the hood has not been left out and here you will find a new 3.2L V6 inline engine which gives a big boost to the speed and acceleration which will now do 0-60 in just 8.9 seconds.

A couple of other crossover SUVs to compare the Land Rover LR2 with are the BMW X5 and the Audi Q5.

This vehicle is suited to someone who wants to mix the edge of traveling and the outdoor life with all the creature comforts of traveling in style. It has ample space in the 5-seater frame to accommodate a group of adults and plenty of storage in the boot for any outdoor kit you might like to use.

The vehicle offers superb road handling and the inline engine allows for smooth acceleration with the six valves delivering the pace and power when it is required. Although not strictly designed for off-road it will handle well in difficult road conditions.
