The 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe is a big step up from the previous model, it now looks ready to compete with more established brands in the market and is now a proper contender. With a striking and angular design, it is one attractive SUV, offering superb value for money and good alternative to its rivals; the Ford Explorer, Honda Pilot, Mazda CX-9 and the Dodge Durango.

The 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe sits on the company's latest and most advanced platforms designed for supreme ride and comfort. A more grown up and sophisticated design coupled with latest technologies makes the Santa Fe a very enjoyable car to drive, a relaxing and effortless cruiser that does everything it is asked without much hassle. Available in front or four wheel drive and a choice of three engines, a 2.4 Litre 4 cylinder with either 176 or 190 HP, a silky smooth 3.3 Litre V6 with 270 HP and a first for Hyundai in the Middle, a 2.2 Litre 4 cylinder Turbodiesel with 150 or 190 HP, the latter produces over 430 NM of torque which is enough to rival a V8 petrol while offering sensational mileage. 

Inside, the Santa Fe continues its attractive design. With a funky but logical dash layout, it feels very youthful compared to the competition, all materials are of good quality and everything thing feels well built and solid for years to come. Standard equipment as with Hyundai is more than generous; it has all the toys and gadgets to keep occupants happy and is a safe vehicle. The 2014 is a very good SUV with a very competitive price, and with great looks and new abilities, it isn't a memory of older Korean cars.
