The 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe is one of the best looking SUV's in the market today. It's sheer size and brilliant design make it stand out from the other SUV's on the road. Seating 8 people comfortably is just one of the factors that makes the Chevrolet Tahoe a brilliant family car. 

The 5.3L V8 is able to produce 320 horsepower and 454 Nm which make towing a breeze. Acceleration is smooth and is accompanied by a deep exhaust note. Due to improved sound dampening materials used, the ride is quiet and feels more luxurious than expected in a SUV. 

Safety is not at all compromised with all 3 rows of seating recieving side curtain airbags even in the standard model. The starting price for the Chevrolet Tahoe is AED 152,000 and it increases steadily with more bells and whistles such as 20 inch rims and a Bose audio system. 

Fuel efficieny is probably the only let down in an otherwise brilliant car. The fuel efficiency is better than the Honda Pilot but on par with a Nissan Armada. Sadly though, the hybrid version of the Tahoe is not available in the UAE since that is one of the most fuel efficient SUV's produced. 

Competitors of the Chverolet Tahoe include national favourties such as the Toyota Land Cruiser and the Nissan Patrol. The Chevrolet Tahoe is recommended for someone with a large family who wishes to travel safely both within the city and off the beaten path.
