Two test drive events were held over April 23rd and 24th at two of its testing centres. The Xushui Test Ground which primarily helps in assessing a car’s performance, poise and handling over everyday road conditions, gave an idea of the degree to which its products fared during routine commuting.
As GWM transitions into a future where electric mobility would be the harbinger, it offered its guests to experience sustainable models that ran on this new energy. These encompassed the ORA 03 hatchback which draws influence from retro styling, brawny SUVs from its Haval Dragon lineup, the compact Haval H6 SUV and the stately H7 mid-sized SUV.
Those yearning for greater enthusiasm were covered by the brand’s tech-laden off-road vehicles such as the TANK 700 Hi4-T and the full-sized burly pickup, the SAHAR POER. The Baoding based company chose these models for people to actively figure out the nuances of each model and their suitability for global markets.
The second test-drive event was held at Yixian Test Ground where journalists engaged in off-roading adventures such as climbing up a hill, manoeuvring through gravel and acclaim its passenger cars as these were put through their paces. Testers from Brazil, South Africa and Mexico, who are likely to have tested a mélange of models from different manufacturers across varied segments were amazed at the comfort and handling demeanour of other GWM models and expressed their desire of seeing these cars in other countries.
