Quick Review
The Hyundai H1, iLoad, Starex or H-200 as it is referred to in a few countries, is a large and convenient van introduced by Hyundai that can be tailored to meet your needs. Depending on the configuration you opt for, the H1 is able to seat a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 12 individuals.
In terms of the engine, the H1 is available with a 2.4 liter 4 cylinder petrol unit or a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder diesel variant. The 2.4 liter engine produces 174 horsepower and 228 Nm of torque, while the 2.5 liter engine produces 100 horsepower and 225 Nm of torque. Both engines are configured to power the rear wheels and will fetch you an average of 14.5 liters/100km. Though handling is not extraordinary, it is aided by the use of anti-lock brakes and electronic stability control as standard features.
As for the interior, spacious would be an understatement. The seats are well designed and comfortable to be seated in. The armrest attached to the seats is also a great feature and very comfortable to use. The Hyundai H1 has not forgotten about conveniences such as the radio with an AUX port to ensure you and your passengers enjoy traveling in this multipurpose van.
From the exterior, the Hyundai H1 is among the few vans that don't look terrible. We wouldn't exactly call it stylish, but the Hyundai H1 definitely isn't a bad looking van. If you don't quite fancy the idea of owning an H1 just yet, be sure to have a look at the Chrysler Grand Voyager, Honda Odyssey and Mitsubishi Grandis.
