Quick Overview

Ford has built a reputation for making reliable automobiles for decades, and the latest developments made to its Focus model are continuing to uphold that reputation.

New safety features come as part of the 2013 update of the Ford Focus, with parking assistance, ambient lighting and a camera used for reverse or rear view parking all included. Moreover, the car has a number of design and handling updates, making its Ford’s smoothest driving Focus yet.

The car has two available engines, with the most powerful operating at 170 brake horsepower and having a two liter engine capacity. Drivers can also choose from a six speed auto-manual or five speed manual gear option.

The handling and driving capabilities of the car are by far its strongest selling point. Particular benefits include its high power and the quality of its brakes. The Focus is also remarkably quiet for a car that gives the amount of performance that it does, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable ride.

However, there are also a few negative points about the updated Focus. The car is rather small and although the interiors look nice, they may not be the best for drivers with a large family.

Overall though, the Focus is a nifty little car that provides a stylish ride. You may not get the biggest vehicle on the road and the style may not quite match up to the popular Honda Civic, but considering its low price the Focus does offer great value. Comparable cars apart from the Civic include Toyota Corolla and Chevrolet Cruze.
