How the estimate is built
- Insured value
- The car's new price less about 8% a year, never below 35% of it.
- Comprehensive
- 3.2% of the insured value, the top of the market's range, and at least AED 1,400 a year.
- Third-Party
- A fixed band by the car's value, from AED 640 a year.
Each provider prices above or below that base. Your driver profile and claims history move the real quote.

Your car's insured value
Pick a make, model and year and we estimate the value insurers cover — then every provider's premium.
Premiums are YallaMotor's estimates from the car's value, priced at the upper end of market rates, so real quotes can be lower. They are not quotes from the providers. Final pricing depends on the driver's age, licence, claims history and the cover's terms.
How to estimate your car insurance premium
Pick your car
Make, model and model year — from YallaMotor's own car catalogue for UAE.
We value it
The car's new price is depreciated for its age to the value an insurer would cover.
We estimate every provider
Comprehensive and Third-Party premiums for each provider, cheapest first, so you know what to expect before you ask for quotes.
Comprehensive or Third-Party?
Third-Party is the legal minimum in UAE: it pays for damage you cause to others, nothing for your own car. Comprehensive adds your own car — accident, theft, fire, natural events — and usually agency repair options and a rental car. The gap between them is largest on newer, pricier cars, where the car's own value is what you are insuring.
Third-Party
Covers damage and injury you cause to other people and their property. Cheapest, fixed-band pricing; your own car is not covered.Comprehensive
Covers your own car as well, priced as a share of its value. Worth it when the car is worth more than a few years of the premium difference.
A car under finance almost always needs Comprehensive cover — lenders require it.
What affects your car insurance premium?
The car's value and age
Comprehensive premiums follow the insured value, which falls with age — the biggest lever in this estimate.Driver profile
Age, years of driving licence in UAE and nationality change quotes by a wide margin; new licence holders pay the most.Claims history
A claim-free record earns no-claims discounts; recent claims add loading.Cover options
Agency repair, GCC cover, roadside assistance, rental car and a lower excess all add to the base premium.
