Quick Overview

The face lifted Mercedes E Class has gone through extensive updates to make sure that customers have even less reasons to look elsewhere. The E Class is more relaxed and soothing than its main competitors, the BMW 5 Series, Audi A6 and Lexus GS, while looking better than the previous model, sharper lines and a more aggressive posture.

The new revisions for 2013 include newer engines throughout the range, all fitted with Mercedes BlueEfficiency technology for better response, power and fuel economy. Tweaks in the 7G Tronic Plus gearbox result in smoother and faster shifts, all making for better driving experience for both passengers and the driver. The suspension has been reviewed extensively to reduce body roll and create a sportier and more responsive feel, but the ride is still as smooth as ever.

Standard equipment is more than before despite the slight increase in price. Safety is a huge aspect in the E Class with numerous instruments scanning the road ahead and behind to keep its occupants away from danger. The interior is better built and feels more solid than before, materials used are of very high quality and looks more modern and has very German minimalist design, making it even more special in its class.
