The new 2012 Chevrolet Captiva features a new front end design as well as a series of improvements to the interior, transmission and engine. This SUV combines a thoroughbred sports style with an active on-demand all-wheel drive system. 

The exterior of the Chevrolet Captiva was highly acclaimed since its launch in 2006 and the new model is even better. Some of the new features that are striking when viewing the car from the front include a completely redesigned hood, a new grille and integrated LED turn signals on the side mirrors. On the front wings, the side air vents are now shaped in an angular way with the intent of underlining the sports-like character of the new Captiva.

When it comes to the line-up of engines, you can choose from two petrol engines of 2.4L and 3.0L. The engines incorporate a multitude of advanced technologies to provide an optimal balance between fuel economy and excellent performance. Because the manufacturer decided to introduce a 264 HP 3.0-litre V6 gasoline engine with variable valve timing and direct injection, the 2012 Chevrolet Captiva is now one of the most powerful compact SUVs available on the market.

When it comes to the interior, the 2012 Chevrolet Captiva includes AUX connectivity, USB port and Bluetooth. The audio experience got even better thanks to the improved acoustic engineering that result in reduced wind, road and engine noise. The new Chevrolet Captiva is ideal for those who are looking for a powerful yet efficient SUV that can accommodate up to seven passengers.
