Quick Review

The iconic BMW 7 Series is the main reason the German manufacturer is known as one of the premiere luxury car makers. The 2012 BMW 7 Series continues this trend and it emerges with a freshly redesigned silhouette that distinguishes it from previous versions.

The new 2012 BMW 7 series is available in either 730Li, 740Li, 750Li or 760Li models, each one with several versions. The 2012 BMW 7 Series line-up of sedans preserves the xDrive all-wheel drive system, which was firstly introduced in 2011 and the 6-cylinder engines in the 740i and models. While there is a new shell surrounding the 740 models in 2012, underneath it you will find the same machinery that powered last years’ models.

A characteristic of all the cars of the 2012 BMW 7 series is the iDrive system, which displays maps, manages the telephone, plays music and includes the BMW Assist for emergencies. The system features 12 GB of storage for all your favorite music files, which you can import from USB drives or CDs.

The most powerful engine of the series can be found in the 760 Li model, which features an impressive 6.0 litre, 48 valve, V12 engine. As for the safety features, the 2012 BMW series features multiple cameras, active blind spot detection, night vision with pedestrian detection, advanced airbags, brake assist, stability and traction controls and trunk release.

The 2012 BMW 7 series is suitable for those who are looking for the finest engineering, performance and luxury in a sedan. The ease of driving and the upscale interior features make the BMW 7 models the ideal choice for both city and highway driving.

Similar peers in this segment include Audi A8, Jaguar XJ Series and Lexus LS460.
