Couple of weeks ago, the BBC announced - to the shock of many - that Jeremy Clarkson was suspended pending an investigation due to a “fracas”, causing the word fracas to be the most searched word on the internet that day! Which turned out to mean “A noisy argument or fight”.
Since then Top Gear was suspended, and the BBC managed to do everything wrong they can do to mess things up even further, causing a public uproar and discontent.

Immediately following the news, many politicians, including the prime minister, voiced their concerns and discontent with the BBC, saying “Because he is such a huge talent and he amuses and entertains so many people, including my children, who'd be heartbroken if Top Gear was taken off air, I hope this can be sorted out, because it's a great program and he's a great talent”.
The BBC since cancelled the 3 remaining episodes of Top Gear, including a bonus episode that is long awaited by fans, which will see the show pitting the Ferrari LaFerrari, McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 Spyder against each other.
The BBC also contacted James May and Richard Hammond to do the remaining 3 episodes without Jeremy, causing them to refuse and to stand by their colleague.
The results of BBC’s actions was losing almost 4 million viewers in the first week, a 1 million signature petition was signed to reinstate Jeremy at the show, and iTV offered Jeremy Clarkson a 15 million pound deal to come to iTV.

If you ask us, the only “fracas” made here, is the one the BBC caused themselves, and they are definitely the ones at the short end of the stick.
