A common scenario these days is automobile brands collaborating with clothing or fashion brands and come up with ‘one-offs’ and an exciting range of exclusive products to exhibit the haute-couture’s characteristics on the car’s integument. These pieces execute different styling flavour and allow people to experience the unique combination of brands. These also work as inspiration not only for their future but for even other brands to warp on these and come up with their own intricate products.

Jaguar, the iconic British luxury and performance brand has collaborated with Baracuta, an apparel design company to cater to everyone save for the plebeian. The intent behind their collaboration is to gain insights about the future styling trends which would unravel in the future. The Manchester-based clothing brand is known for its stylized designs fusing automotive and apparel elements in a sophisticated manner that one would cosset and caress with their hand to feel the perfection.

Jaguar and Baracuta have consolidated for the purpose of creating a digest to future design classics which will be bearing the name-‘The New Classic Guide.’ For a great headstart, a unique Jaguar Baracuta E-Pace and a sassy Jaguar G9 Baracuta jacket have been curated. These are epitomes of the brand’s identity and prelude to fathoming the future vogues.

Surrounding the development process of ‘The Next Classic Guide,’ some of the world’s leading bloggers, influencers, artists and content creators will be part of a convoy and travel to the cultural heartland of UK and neighbouring towns and cities to inspect the melange of cultures, people, places, fashion and the trends which have taken place to mould the styling trends for the future generations which they would prefer imbibing.

It will be a considerably long event which already began in October, 2021 and will conclude contemporaneously with the Milan Fashion Week in February, 2022. This rummaging escapade will have these groups explore the cities of Germany, Spain, Poland and Austria for comprehensive findings about the cultural diversity and how every culture disseminates itself within the location purview. The upcoming ‘The Next Classic Guide’ will be an open portal for everyone to express their thoughts and ideas allowing the ones smitten by this event to track the journey.

The vanguard is the British content creator and brand consultant Samutaro who has become one of the most followed fashion curators in the contemporary times who was the first one to witness the culmination of the innovative project at Jaguar’s Product Development Centre situated at Gaydon in Warwickshire. He was in a rendezvous with the designer Anna Abell from the Jaguar team whose brainchild was the personalised Jaguar E-Pace. It’s livery was inspired by the tough and impeccable G9 jacket.

Anna said: “Design is at the very heart of the Jaguar and Baracuta brands. Both have created design classics that have stood the test of time and remained relevant in the face of ever-changing tastes and cultural trends. It was therefore great to be given the responsibility of bringing these two brands together in this collaboration, after all, they have enjoyed a long association with many of the World’s most iconic figures from stage and screen coveting both.”

The E-Pace gets a customised exterior colour, ‘Neutro’ and on the inside, features grid-like patterns like those on a woollen cloth which is also used on the brand’s famed jackets. You will find instances of this pattern on the door trims, boot area and even the roof to reminisce the exclusivity. Its headrests come with a Baracuta crest design engraved on them, the marque’s logo on the hind quarter glass and even puddle lamps projecting the Baracuta insignia. Similarly, the jacket has ‘Jaguar’ logo embossed on the sleeves and in its interior, possesses a special edition Jaguar X Baracuta insignia.
