The 2018 Lexus LC 500h is the coupe that aims to provide great style, along with dollops of Lexus luxury, performance and efficiency.

While the standard LC 500 is all about booming V8 performance, its hybrid guise is mostly tasked with being more efficient. The styling of the 2018 Lexus LC 500h is quite similar to that of its V8 sibling, and gets the Lexus trademark spindle grille and razor-sharp LED lights. The side gets a steeply-raked A-pillar and a floating C-pillar design, plus intake vents just ahead of the rear fenders. The back features a very chunky bumper, stylish taillights, and dual exhaust pipes.
The cabin design of the 2018 Lexus LC 500h is almost identical to that of the standard LC 500. This means that there’s a lot leather, soft-touch premium materials, and heaps of gadgets to fiddle with. Being a Lexus, the LC 500h is loaded with safety tech, and more airbags than available seating space.

Motive force for the 2018 Lexus LC 500h comes from a 3.5-liter V6 which gains assistance from an AC motor. The combined system output is 354 horsepower, and a sprint time from naught to 100 km/h of around 5 seconds. Top speed is electronically-limited to 250 km/h.
