The price differs slightly from school to school but are all pretty similar. A normal course course consisting of all tests and 40 lessons will cost from AED 5000-6000. 5.Complete all of your lessons, complete all internal tests. Your school will then apply for your theory test followed by your road test.

6.If you complete both of those without any issues, you'll get your full Dubai license through in a couple weeks.

Specifics

The Theory Test

You'll have to bring 2 passport photos and AED 200. The actual test itself consists of 35 questions covering road signals, hazards and guidelines on safe driving.  The first part of the test will be made up of 17 questions which focus on general traffic situations of which you will need to answer a minimum of 11 correctly to pass. The second part of the test will have 18 questions related to the driving license of which you'll need to get 12 correct to pass. The last part of the test is called the hazard perception test. This involves watching 5 videos and during these videos, hitting a button when you see a hazard and a dangerous situation evolving.

The Road Test

On a date of your choosing you will go to the test centre with your passport, driving file and 2 passport photos. Fill in an application form and pay between 200-300 for the road test. Once called out you will go to the designated car and will be given a few minutes to prove your driving level is good enough. If you pass you will go back into the test centre and have your driving file stamped. Once this has happened you will go to the photo area have your photo taken and your driving license will be ready within a few minutes.

If you fail your road test you will have to do a minimum of 7 more lessons, apply for a new date for your next road test and repeat this process.
