Review: Hyundai Genesis coupe 2014 Review by ZERO

My take on interior features:
Almost everything you need is there.
Bluetooth - AUX - USB - CD Player - Windsheild defogger which works automatically after you turn on the A/C if it detected a fog on your windshield ( A/C System ) - heated Seats - 3 Gauges in the center of the interior for your Acceleration Percentage, Torque Gauge in N.M Format & Oil Temp - Sunroof - Infinity Sound System - On the steering wheel you got ( Mode Button for the Radio & Media Player System - Cruise Buttons - Mute Button - Volume Control Stick - Seek Track Button to Select the Music ( Also located in the center of the interior ) - Rear Fog Light Activator on the left side of the Steering Wheel ( to Activate the rear fog light - you need to Active the Front Fog Lights by pressing the Front Fog Lights Button located on the left side corner near the Driver's door after you active the Front & Rear Lights ) - Trip A & B Counter in the middle of the gauges - A Button to disable or enable the automatic activation of the car room-lights when opening the doors - Wireless Key Recharger ( located inside the Seat Box ) - Rear View Mirror Automatic Dimming or Anti-Glare.
Sadly the full option model isn't available in the middle east ( you can order it to be shipped ) the current available model ( RS-3800 ) doesn't have navigation screen.

My take on exterior features:
Turning Signal Lights on the Side Mirrors - Electric Folding Mirrors - Brembo Brakes - Birdgestone Potenza Tires ( really good gripping tires ) - Front & Rear Parking Sensors - Front Lights Water-Sprayers or Len Cleaners ( to active it you need to active the low beam headlights ) - Rear Spoiler ( Optional ) - Front & Rear LED Lights.

My take on driving performance:

With the 8-Speec Automatic Transmission the car accelerates from 0 to 100 KPH ( with TCS & ESP off with D Sport & Tip-Tronic Biddle Shifters usage ) roughly 6.8 Secs ( strangely it was mentioned to be 6.5 Secs - it could be the special edition Genesis Coupe acceleration time record because i was informed that it got a Limited Slip Differential )
the feeling of the Acceleration G-Force that you get when you hold the 1st gear at low speed is crazy! , just take it for a test drive from the dealership to experience it personally ( make sure the TCS & ESP are off by holding the traction button for about 5 secs to also disable the ESP & make sure on using the TipTronic Paddle Shifters to drop the gear to 1st when your car is running at 20 KPH )
i managed to make it reaches 90 KPH on bridge loops turns downhill ( one of my friends told me that he've tested his Ford Mustang 5.0 V8 2014 Special Edition on a bridge loop - his car started to move around or you could say ( not steady ) at 80 KPH - then he tested the Genesis Coupe 2014 Special Edition which got LSD as i was informed & hit 90 KPH on the bridge loop downhill.
plus cutting a certain corner which the best normal speed which feels dangerous if driven at 90 KPH - i've managed to make car hit 120 KPH.
Some opened Roads where the normal cars would hit at best ( dangerously ) 120 KPH - i managed to make the car hits 160 KPH.
on a certain roundabout the best possible speed for the cars to cut it is something like 60 KPH ( if not less ) i've managed to make the car hit 70 KPH.

The Genesis Coupe is a very good drifting machine - I've personally experienced it's drifting ability on a wet road - then after disabling TCS & ESP i've started oversteering to start the drift - the car slided a little slowly then entered the drift process for about 2 secs - then thankfully it was possible to easily get the car back to straight line ( Drift Cancel )

There were a previous Achievements for the older models which were :

In Formula Drift Championship ( Driven by Rhys Millen - 4 time Formula Drift Champion )
The current best position Rhys Millen reached with the Genesis Coupe is 3rd.
Also In July 2009, Millen and the Genesis Coupe set a new record for two-wheel drive production-based cars at Pikes Peak.
In June 2011, Rod Millen set a new record for 2WD Time Attack using the same Genesis Coupe with a time of 11:04.912.

There is a model known as : Genesis Coupe R-Spec.
The R-Spec is the Racing Spec of the Hyundai Genesis Coupe.
It got a more powerful 3.8 V6 Engine Known as The GDI ( Gasoline Direct Injection ) which produces 348 HP.
The R-Spec as i've confirmed from certain sources - it accelerates from 0-60 MPH ( nearly 100 KPH ) at 5.0 Secs.
The R-Spec also has a tuned suspension for a Race Track.

My take on how practical this car is:
The car is useful on road bumps since it has a good ride height (tested from me on road bumps)
From the driver seat it got a nice visibility.
the only problem inside the car is the limited head room for taller passengers in the back seats, but it is solvable if the front seats are pushed forward enough to balance the comfortablility between the front & back passengers or if the front passenger & Driver are shorter - which is helpful for the back passengers to get a better comfortablility.
It got a nice fuel economy for the 3.8 V6 RS-3800 Automatic.
As long as you take it easy on the throtttle ( depending on the driven distance ) it can last 7 days without refilling the trunk.
It has TCS - ESP ( Electronic Stability Program ) & ABS - which will make it safer on certain circumstances like certain mistakes from the driver's throttle control or from the road conditions.
it got a nice space in the back trunk which is helpful when heading to the super market.
From personal experience - i remember when i bought enough items to almost fill 95% of the trolley - in the middle of the loading process for the items - the car has a feature - back pulling stick which once pulled it will unlock the locks on the rear of the back seats to bend it down to get extra space - which i've used while loading the back trunk to load all of the carried items from the trolley.

My take on the price tag & value for money:
Compared to other sports cars like Camaro V6 - Challenger V6 & Mustang V6.
The Genesis Coupe offers you more options at lower cost - better Fuel Economy & long warrenty.
